Scripps Howard Foundation internships
The Scripps Howard Foundation (www.scripps.com/foundation) provides generous funding to support many nonprofit public relations internships for juniors and seniors in our region.
These are competitive internships, open to students at other universities in Greater Cincinnati as well as to NKU students. To best prepare yourself for selection, visit the Career Development Center for counsel on how to write a cover letter, compose a resume and be ready for an interview.
You can visit the Career Development Center (UC 305) during walk-in hours, Monday through Thursday, 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m..
Also, College of Communication students interested in these internships are strongly encouraged to contact David Thomson at thomsond@nku.edu or 859-572-5646. His office is Griffin Hall 544. Professor Thomson works with Communication students to find internship placements that will work best for them.
